Clean bathrooms

No shade on opposite side near trail.

UPDATE: Friday nights are Speedway. 17/07/14. Speedway was going till 12:30 in the morning!

This is our go to place for camping when going to Grand Forks. The sites are large, facilities clean, park is large. We love the fact that there are numerous restaurants just outside the gates as well.

Shady sites 1-13

A great place to stay. Space between camp sites, lots of services spots. No gravel roads, so no dust. Walk in sites are along the river bank and a bit more remote. Not it is across the river from down town. So you can still hear car alarms. Showers are free and clean. Bathrooms are always clean. The people running the park are friendly. Really close to the walking and cycling trail. In the summer there is live music close by on Friday's.

Keep this in mind!

Clean outhouses!

Just had an awesome time at the Blue Moose in East Grand Forks, Minnesota. the last supper of 2017.

The only problem we had was Friday night races at the Speedway. The wind must have been blowing just right, because it was loud, so loud we did not sit outside.

We are working to complete the MN Hiking Club Trails and we stopped to complete the hike here while passing through town. Was a little disappointed with the hiking club trail because it took us down residential streets and not on hiking trails like we usually see at state parks and state recreation areas. The picnic areas looked nice though and if you're not looking for a hike, but just a nice place to walk the dog, it's a nice park.

Beautiful little camping area. Don't expect a wilderness retreat - the campground is literally a few minutes walk from downtown Grand Forks.

Clean showers

While in the camping area, it is very hard to tell that you are so close to downtown - there is a large grass berm/dike surrounding the park making it feel much more secluded than it is.

Large sites

We've stayed here multiple times, in different spots with different levels of service and all of our stays have been fantastic.
